Payments

How is my payment handled? 

Payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. I do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

I also accept bank transfers, and can supply my bank details. Once the money has gone into my account, I will dispatch the painting to you.

Paying in instalments

For larger paintings I offer the option of paying in instalments. You can contact me to discuss how you would like to spread the payments to invest in a larger painting.

PayPal Credit

Now , buying art has got a whole lot easier. You can now apply for PayPal credit which allows you to spend over £99 and spread the cost, with 0% interest for the first 3 months.

This privacy policy sets out how Tracey Downing will use any personal information collected about you when you use this website or sign up to Tracey Downing Artist mailing list.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect information about you when you place an order for products directly with us or join our mailing list.  We will also collect information if you voluntarily complete customer surveys or participate in competitions or giveaways.

How will we use the information about you?

We collect information about you to process any orders placed, and if you agree, to email you about other products, services, events or blog posts we think may be of interest to you.

Tracey Downing Artist will not share your information with anyone other than for the purposes of carrying out the activities mentioned above.

In processing your order, we may pass your details to the Post Office or any courier used if required.

Email addresses added to our mailing list will be stored securely with MailChimp and are not held separately by Tracey Downing Artist. Please see MailChimp’s  website for details of how they keep this information safe.

Marketing

We would like to send you information about our products, services, events and updates and these will be sent by email. If you have consented to receive such emails at any time you may opt out at a later date, either by clicking the unsubscribe link in your most recent email, or by contacting us direct at tdowning1@hotmail.co.uk and requesting this removal.

• All copyright is retained by the artist, Tracey Downing. Artwork must not be resold or reproduced without the artist’s written permission.

• Every care has been taken to show the work as accurately as possible with regard to size and colour. The image you see may be different due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

• Security of Data: We will take all reasonable care, in do far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure. We use a secure external payment process. In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from the website.

We reserve the right to:

• modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you; you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

• change these conditions from time to time; your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check to determine whether the conditions have been changed.

Any order placed through the website is not binding until the work has been despatched. Artwork listed may be withdrawn from sale at any point by the artist for reasons such as, but not limited to sale elsewhere or withheld for exhibition display.

 Payment, Commissions, Shipping and Returns

If you would like to buy any of my works or talk about a commission then please do get in touch through my contact form. Available paintings can be purchased through my checkout page if you live within the UK. If you live elsewhere please contact me so we can discuss shipping.

Please note that prices include a minimum postage/shipping or packaging fee. This can be discussed according to your needs. I have included standard delivery where possible but some countries will require that you email me or you may want other delivery options so feel free to contact me with any shipping queries.

I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?


Most orders will be packed and shipped within 7 working days depending on availability and framing issues. Within the UK pieces are posted or sent by courier depending on size and weight. Large shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. I use a specialist company to pack and ship my larger paintings, to guarantee that it arrives with you in perfect condition. If you are located in London it may be possible to have your purchase delivered to you for no extra cost.

Where work is shown without a price, please contact me via the contact form and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Can you ship internationally?

Yes, I can ship to most countries. I use a specialist company to pack and ship my paintings, to guarantee that it arrives with you in perfect condition.  I have included shipping costs at checkout for United Kingdom. Currently addresses outside of the UK will require you to email me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you a quote for shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs cover packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

Returns

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be totally happy with your new artwork so I offer a returns policy.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.

What if my piece arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.

What about Overseas Returns?
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
