One of a series of small 15cm x 15cm x 5cm paintings made during lockdown. They’re my creative response, acknowledging the plethora of emotion experienced during uncertain times, whilst embracing hope for the future. Motifs associated with the elements often emerge in my paintings; clouds, inclement weather, blue grey skies and bodies of water. The changes in nature are both a metaphor of our smallness amidst the challenges of change and small moments of thoughtful colour we can hold onto.
