This painting was selected for the front cover of the British Association of Art Therapists online Journal. It’s inspired by a book that I read to my children called ‘Time to get out of the bath Shirley’ by John Burningham about a young girl who imagines herself disappearing down the plug hole into a land of fantasy and imagination, whilst her Mother waits.
